About Lilburn, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, Lilburn is a developed Atlanta suburb. As of 2010, an estimated 12,700 residents called the city home. Lilburn was rounded by the Seaboard Air Line Railway in 1890 as “McDaniel”, but it was later renamed for railroad superintendent Lilburn Trigg Myers. The town prospered until a devastating fire in 1920, and while growth stalled for a while, an economic revitalization has drawn more residents in recent years. Renovations have also been made to the city hall, library, and Main Street corridor.

There are many interesting things to see and do in Lilburn. The largest Swaminarayan temple found outside of India – BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Atlanta – is found here. Families with young children might prefer a trip to the Yellow River Game Ranch, while collectors may enjoy a visit to the Five Forks Antique Mall or Antiques in Old Town. There are also several notable events held in the city throughout the year, including the Lilburn Daze Arts and Crafts Festival and the annual Christmas Parade.

Lilburn residents enjoy pleasant weather conditions for much of the year, but the summer months tend to be hot and humid. Temperatures reach well into the 90s, although heat indices often reach into triple digits with the humidity. The right central air conditioning system is a necessity to keep indoor conditions safe, and they are an especially important investment for people who suffer from allergies, asthma, and other chronic illnesses.

The spring and fall seasons are warm to hot in temperature and bookend a cool, short winter. Snowfall is rare here, and temperatures stay in the mid-50s for much of the season. That’s not to say that climate controls aren’t needed, though. Overnight lows often fall below freezing and can lead to dangerous indoor and outdoor conditions. Your local HVAC technician can help you to find a properly-sized furnace in order to best heat your home throughout the season.
